My sister had a stroke
at 24.
She was 24 years old and 75% paralyzed on her left side. The doctors gave her steroids. She did physical therapy. Nothing was working. She was deeply depressed, staring down a life permanently altered by something that had come out of nowhere.
Then someone suggested energy work.
Within a year, my sister was 100% healed. No paralysis. No symptoms. She went on to have three children and shows no signs of ever having had a stroke. The doctors had no explanation. I had only one: the energy work had done something that conventional medicine could not reach.
I spent the next two years studying under the woman who healed her. I needed to understand what I had witnessed. That was the beginning of everything.
Before that, at 20 years old, I had moved from Los Angeles to Ghana, West Africa to study African art. That year broke me open in ways I did not expect. I experienced a connection to spirit and energy I had never felt before.
